NCV vending Seattle has been doing this for years, but we are still glad to see the ruling body chose to make this volutary, rather than mandatory.

For the record, the predominant majority of NCV Vending Seattle vending machines are loaded with as close to 50% healthy food options, whether it be a snack food vending machine, a drink vending machine, or otherwise. NCV knows that feeding our clients the highest grade foods, and the healthiest foods that they will actually consume, is the best thing for all parties. After all, a sick workforce isn't able to buy much in the breakroom. The King County Board of Health on Thursday unanimously approved new guidelines that encourage healthier food in vending machines.
The King County Healthy Vending Guidelines are voluntary, but officials hope that community-based organizations and local governments will follow them and offer healthier options for those who seek to grab a quick snack or beverage.
